The Practice Problem

Most practice websites were built to look good on a desktop. Nobody books a healthcare appointment from a desktop.

  • Run your site through Google's PageSpeed Insights. If it scores under 70 on mobile, a prospective patient is bouncing before your homepage even loads. They go to the next practice on the list.
  • A new patient searching on their phone at 9pm should be one tap from calling you and one tap from requesting an appointment. Most practice sites bury both.
  • If you do not rank on page one for "dentist near me" or "chiropractor + your city", you do not exist to new patients. Slow, bloated sites do not rank. Google is explicit about it.

Are the contact forms HIPAA compliant? +
Short version: the contact forms on your practice site are designed so they do not collect Protected Health Information (PHI) in the first place. That keeps the site out of HIPAA scope. The form captures what a new patient actually needs to give you: name, email, phone, reason for visit in general terms, and preferred appointment window. It routes through a provider that is safe for non-PHI traffic. For anything that does involve PHI (full patient intake, insurance verification, and medical history), I integrate your practice site with your existing HIPAA-compliant tools (Jane, SimplePractice, NexHealth, Dentrix, etc.) rather than building a new PHI path. If your engagement actually requires PHI to pass through something I build, we sign a Business Associate Agreement first.
Can you integrate with my booking system? +
Yes. Jane, SimplePractice, NexHealth, LocalMed, Zocdoc, Dentrix online booking, Henry Schein, or any system with an embed, button, or scheduling link. I handle the integration so the booking flow lives inside your site, not a detour to someone else’s.
Do I have to pay you every month? +
No. You pay once for the build, and the first year of hosting is included. After that, hosting runs about $250/year or $30/month. An optional maintenance retainer is available if you want ongoing updates (new service pages, insurance changes, staff photos), but it is never required.
How long does this take? +
Most sites launch within a week once content is ready. Practice content (bios, services, insurance list, photos) is usually the bottleneck, not the build. I will give you a clear timeline on our first call, and I will tell you honestly what you need to have ready to hit it.
What if I don't like it? +
The build includes up to 3 rounds of revisions. If you genuinely hate it 30 days after launch, I refund the build cost. I would rather refund than argue.
I already have a website. Can you just fix it? +
Maybe. Often a rebuild in custom code is faster and cheaper than patching a slow WordPress or Wix site that is fighting you on performance. I audit what you have and tell you honestly whether a rebuild or a repair is the right call. If a repair is better for you, I will say so.
What's a Lighthouse score, and why does it matter for my practice? +
Lighthouse is Google's own grading system for websites: performance, accessibility, SEO, and best practices, each scored 0-100. I build to 95-100 across the board. It matters because Google's local search (the one that surfaces 'dentist near me') rewards fast, accessible, well-structured sites with higher rankings. That is directly how new patients find a practice.
Do I actually own the website? +
Yes. The code is yours. The domain is registered in your name. The analytics and Google Business Profile are under your account. If you ever want to move hosting, hire a different developer, or sell the practice, the digital assets go with it. No lock-in, no holding your site hostage.
